I have the GA8, with the Expression System added on at the Taylor Factory, so it's basically the GA8-E, same price with the retrofitting. What an incredible guitar. Let's start with its simple beauty, excellent tonewoods (Sitka Spruce top and Indian Rosewood back and sides), big booming bass that vibrates into your chest, crisp high notes if you fingerpick (especially with light strings), but the best thing about this guitar is how easy it is to play. It's like "butter" literally - take a nice fender acoustic (which I played for years), play it for a while. Put is down and pick up the Taylor. Play it for a while. Night and day. Absolutely no fret buzz. It's like the strings are greased. It's really that "playable". I didn't know it could be this nice ... until I picked one up at a music store and played it the first time. Wow! I've owned 15 or so guitars over the years. This one, hands down, without hesitation, is the best guitar I've ever owned, or ever played for that matter. It puts my old (now dusty) Ovation to shame. It's like driving a bus after driving a sports car.

If you can figure out a way to pay for it (I'm paying it off over time) it's so well worth the investment if you are a serious guitar player. Are you ready to take it to the next level? Get yourself a higher end Taylor. You won't be sorry. You WILL become a better guitar player!
