Product Description
The Grand Auditorium Nylon-String Acoustic-Electric Guitar is Taylor's take on the classical guitar sound with a nylon-string and a bit of twist. Think of it as classical tone meets Taylor playability, beginning with a slim and fast 1-7/8" neck. Are you ready to explore a new tone from Taylor? The Grand Auditorium showcases the beauty of Indian rosewood. Laminate back and sides are paired with a solid Sitka spruce top, producing a full, rich tone with ample volume, resonance, and sustain.
The Grand Auditorium is Taylor's most versatile and popular shape, excelling at light-touch fingerstyle to full-blown strumming. Great for mic'ing and recording, the GA's balanced mid-range and bright tone exemplify the Taylor voice.
Derived from the Expression System and similar to the ES-T under-saddle transducer, the ES-N features a preamp and tone controls designed to naturally capture the nylon-string voice. It incorporates the same control knobs found on the standard ES.

Taylor Guitars Open Box Grand Auditorium Acoustic-Electric Guitar- USED/DEMO Review
I do not own this, but I have played it. I own the next model up in the same series, the NS-32ce.Pros
------
Taylor neck
Cost effective quality instrument
Feels good, plays easily due to "hybrid nylon string" design - the strings are slightly closer together than a traditional nylon classical, and the neck is not as wide.
Cons
------
Seems a bit overpriced for a model with laminated sides/back
Summary
I feel at the $1K price point that the laminated sides/back is not acceptable. I paid more to go up to the NS32-ce which has solid sides & back. It cost a little more to do that, but I felt it was worth it. that said, let me say that I still own my first acoustic guitar which had a laminated sides/back construction. It sounds as good as it did 30 years ago (maybe better). I have had no issues with delamination, but the guitar did not see significant temperature/humidity changes over its lifetime. You probably cannot hear a difference between laminated and solid sides/back if you are a typical player. So this is still a fine instrument from Taylor. Personally, I considered it but felt the solid body NS32-ce was a better VALUE although it cost more. I deducted 1 star purely on the value at the price point -- but I cannot ding the NS24 for sound or quality of build. In fact, I bought my NS32 sight unseen based on playing the NS24.
