I have known Rodec mixers and thought that they were only club installation type mixers. I've seen them in Europe but have never seen them in America. I had the opportunity to test one at a NAMM show and I was completely blown away. The fader is just ridiculous. It's a custon Infinium optical fader and after using the mixer for a few minutes it sealed the deal. I have been DJing for over 30 years (and almost all of them as a scratch/battle/tour type DJ) and I haven't found a fader yet that feels as good as the one on the Scratchbox. The crossfader cut knob provides a very sharp cut that (in my opinion) is better than the other scratch mixers on the scene. The actual mixer sounds great as well. Very "warm" which is rare in the age of digital scratch mixers. The mixer just screams "professional." Incredibly well built and sturdy, this mixer has been on the road with me and has taken all types of abuse and it is still going strong. I'd buy a couple more if I could.
