I appreciate and own several high-dollar traditional wood guitars. After reading for years the high praises of the composite guitars (Rainsong), I decided to take the plunge.

This guitar not only rivals my Martins and Taylors in loudness, but the woody quality is also there. Then mix in the sustaining ringing tones of the composite and you have one fine instrument. The playing action is set up perfectly.

Plus, no worries about temperature changes or humidity problems. I got the natural carbon finish and am very pleased --- I do not care so much for the bells and whistles of fancy rosettes, inlays, etc. -- my main concern is: does it sound good and play good.

The only possible drawback, for some, is the neck is thinner than most traditional guitars (more like an electric guitar neck). I have not had a problem with this feature. My other wish is that it to have stainless steel frets.
