The guitars created in Takamine Specialty Shop are very limited production models showing design elements that appear nowhere else in the Takamine line. The TNV360S dreadnought features a solid, hand-selected "bear claw" spruce which creates a rare, naturally occurring pattern. Each soundboard is individually voiced to maximize its power and dynamic range. The back and sides are solid bookmatched Indian Rosewood, chosen for both its appearance and acoustic integrity. The ebony fingerboard is fitted with nickel silver frets, leveled and finished by hand for perfect playability and intonation. The soundhole and perimeter of the top are inlaid with hundreds of pieces of beautiful abalone shell. Includes Takamine’s palathetic pickup , known in the industry as one of the most accurate and natural sounding acoustic/electric pickups. The electronic performance package is beyond state of the art with the Cool Tube Preamp �� the first and only tube preamp in an acoustic guitar.

This guitar is the bomb. The top of the line as far Takamine goes. I'd also put this tak up against any guitar and watch the other lose. Sound, beauty, playability, plugged in sound with the cool tube preamp, bearclaw spruce top figures aware just breathtaking. The abalone trim and rosette. I could go on and on. This guitar is top guitar over most Taylor's, Martins, etc.
