I walked into a local music shop in Tallahassee, FL looking to find some harmonica holders. After meeting with the owner and getting a relatively cheap one, I decided to spend some time looking at the acoustics in the back room. Then I saw this guitar hanging in the back corner. It didn't have a price tag yet, and I'm glad because if I saw how much it was, I would have never picked it up, being a graduate student. I decided to play some of the Taylors to see what all the hype was about. Good action, tinny tone. I had a Martin DX1ae dreadnought that I loved and wanted to see why so many people loved the Taylors. Obviously, I wasn't playing the "right one". I decided to give this 320 a try...and boy I was blown away. A Taylor that reminded me of the Martin! It was the deep, rich mahogany sound that attracted me to this guitar. Plus, with the Sapele back and sides that Taylor is known for, it had it's signature brightness that wasn't overbearing to the ears. In fact, it gave the guitar a cutting type of sound, mixed with the mahogany deepness. Playing it was like butter. All of the riffs I would stumble on with my Martin were "automagically" cleaned and polished with the Taylor. It's like those new baseball shoes that would make you "run faster" and "jump higher"...Shameless Sandlot plug, i know.

Anyway, I wanted to learn more about this guitar, so I looked up every youtube video I could find and there was nothing...maybe one or two videos. I realized that people have to know about this guitar! It is a gorgeous guitar that would turn heads and raise ears. I am proud to be the owner of this magnificent guitar. Also, Martin has a similar guitar, the D15, which is extremely deep and raw sounding. I played it and loved it. But this one has the bite that an acoustic guitar needs. That's my schpeal!
