I like to pick single notes while strumming...similar to flat picking, the notes ring out true and clear. It is a pretty bright sounds which makes for a guitar that can cut through when played loud but blends in when played soft. The guitar is finished off nicely with it's wood binding. Woods look to be really good quality. This is a guitar you need to try and be prepared to be surprised. I was.
