I have purchased one of these guitars and find it to be a very nice guitar. The sound is well balanced with an above average tone. The neck is comfortable and plays like butter. The tuning gears hold tune very well. I have owned at least 20 different acoustic guitars and this one ranks above most of them all round. The more famous and expensive guitars out there would cost around $1600 before you got into this quality. I saw a player in a band using one of these a few years ago and laughed. Now that I have played one I don't laugh anymore. This is not a beginner guitar like most Samicks you find in the stores. This one is a serious tool and I recommend it for the player on a budget.
