Ordered it last week and it just arrived, took about 7 days total including the weekend. First off the title is misleading, "Schecter Blackjack Slim Line Series C-7 6-String Guitar" This is not possible. I didn't notice the mistake when I ordered it honestly, but when I did I got worried I ordered the wrong guitar. The mistake is this is NOT a 6-String, if you are passing up this deal for under $700 because of this... DON'T! If you want a 7 string brand new Schecter Blackjack SLS with Active pickups like me. BUY NOW!

But why you might ask did I only give 4 stars. Well this is exactly what I wanted, and it was ALMOST described accurately. BUT... I think this is discounted down for one reason. Now I could be wrong but I think this is a factory mistake, the volume for the bridge pickup is wired to the neck pot and the volume for the neck pickup is wired to the bridge pot. Oops, oh well. Not a big deal in my book. I've tested the guitar and it works great otherwise. Shame on Amazon for not posting a good description or title, you lost a star. However I am very happy with my purchase. Also the pictures posted ARE correct good thing you got that right Amazon or I would be returning this.

So what do you get? Just the guitar first off, sorry kids if you want a good case or gig bag then go buy one. I didn't expect one and neither should you. Again this is the 7 string model C-7 Blackjack SLS with Active Seymore Duncan Blackout pickups as pictured, but not described well by Amazon. It cost under $700 after taxes and shipping, honestly the best deal I have seen yet. I have played guitar for almost a decade and finally decided to buy a 7 string. Along the way I have owned a Yamaha Strat clone, a Epiphone Les Paul, and a Ibanez SZ. All good guitars but all lacking in some ways. The Schecter however lacks nothing. First off it is super light, maybe even the lightest guitar I have ever held. I might not even need a guitar strap anymore, it can just float there. Secondly, the pickups are better sounding than EMG's. Third, the neck is the smoothest neck I've played. And finally the tuners are 19:1 gear ratio locking. This guitar has fixed every problem I've ever had with any other guitar I have played. Thank you Schecter for making this beautiful and amazingly crafted, functional, metal powered, astonishing piece of art.
