This is a purpose built finger style guitar that has a beautiful rich tone that rewards a light touch. This is definitely not a heavy strummer. The fit and finish and appontments are surprisingly high end for this price point. It is a light guitar and has a satin finish which resonates extremely well right out of the box. Perfect action and fretboard. To put in perspective the next best sounding guitar I have for finger style is a Taylor 814CE. The only weak point on this otherwise flawless guitar were the really cheap tuners that were quickly replaced with some Gotoh's. The folks at Hole in the Wood are a pleasure to deal with. Awesome guitar at an awesome price. You won't be disappointed.
