I picked one of these up cheap, sight unseen, figuring for what I paid it had to be a good value. If I had paid the current amazon price as of this writing, I would have some serious buyer's regret.

First, I should say it's not a BAD guitar. It has decent fretwork and a proper neck set. The finish is nice, and everything is sturdy.

But then... The top is laminate, and while it isn't too boxy or shrill, there are other tone issues. There's not a lot of top end sparkle, and not much sustain. It's just boring. If you're looking for an instrument to blend in and fill a gap in the mix, this would suffice.

There are better values in this price point. Unless you somehow get it way below amazon's price, skip this guitar.
